FREE Workshops for Kids
FREE Saturday morning theater workshops will be offered to children ages 6-12 in June and July as part of this project. We will be playing theatre games, doing acting exercises, making props, and rehearsing small cameo parts for performance in The Ugly Duckling. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to perform alongside adult actors in the final production.
WHEN:
All workshops will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm on the following Saturdays:
- June 16
- June 23
- June 30
- July 7
- July 14
WHERE:
- St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (417 N 7th St., Allentown, PA 18102)
Children are welcome to come to as many or as few workshops as makes sense for them and their family’s summer schedule – however, if your child would like to participate in the show, the workshop on July 14 is mandatory, and the 3 workshops proceeding it (June 23, 30 & July 7) are strongly recommended. Permission slips and photo release forms will be available for you to fill out at your child’s first workshop.
